Terms of Service

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Overview

Link & Impulse provides data infrastructure services for marketing teams: the Data Audit, the Build, and the Retainer. These terms describe the relationship between you (the client) and us (Link & Impulse) when you engage any of our services.

The services

The Data Audit maps your current data sources, platforms, and identifies what needs to be built. The Build deploys pipelines, dimensional models, and dashboards connected to your own dedicated database, which we host and manage for you. The Retainer covers ongoing maintenance such as schema drift handling and dashboard iterations. Each engagement is scoped in writing before any work begins.

Ownership

Your warehouse data belongs to you. It lives in a dedicated database that we host and manage during the engagement; when the engagement ends, we transfer it to you with its full history. The pipelines we operate stop running when the engagement ends. We do not retain copies of your data afterwards unless you ask us to. Open-source libraries and third-party tools we use remain under their original licenses.

Fees and payment

Each engagement has a fixed price agreed in writing before work starts. Invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. The Retainer is billed monthly and may be cancelled with the notice period described in your retainer agreement.

Access and credentials

During an engagement we may need access to your marketing platforms and data sources. You are responsible for providing that access and for revoking it when an engagement ends. We will not access systems you have not authorised in writing.

No guarantee of outcomes

Data infrastructure depends on the quality of the sources you provide, the stability of the platforms involved, and factors outside our control. We deliver the architecture and pipelines described in our scope, but we do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as revenue figures, conversion rates, or marketing performance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any single engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost data, arising from the services we provide.

Confidentiality

We treat information you share with us, including data sources, business metrics, and infrastructure details, as confidential. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent revision. Engagements already in progress continue under the terms agreed at the start of the engagement.
